Radon
January was National Radon Action Month. This colorless, odorless, natural gas has been in the news often in recent months. Radon comes from the natural decay of uranium that is found in all soils. Why all the fuss? Because radon is a known cancer causing agent that could be present in your home.
Northville Township is an active radon area. Have you checked your home for radon gas? Test kits for radon may be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes, local hardware stores and over the internet. The test kit instructions are easy follow and provide a convenient method to find out what the levels of radon might be in your home.
